I always thought mixing and mastering was something to be done in the studio. Of course that may be still preferable if you have the budget. Since I didn’t have the budget, I decided to do it home. I took around 30 hours of online courses and I learned a lot. It turns out I already had the necessary plugins sitting in my computer collecting dust 🙂 So until I can spend more money on mixing and mastering I will try to do it myself..
